Single Spindle and Multiple Spindle Screw Machining

Once an industry standard, General Engineering Works well maintained Brown & Sharpe Single Spindle Screw Machines continue to offer the most cost effective machining solution in many circumstances.

Special attachments like pickup and slot, bar feeds, single point turning, and thread chasing allow these highly versatile machines to generate precision parts in diameters as small as 3/32" and up to 1-5/8".

General Engineering Works 6 spindle Gildemeisters are designed for closer tolerance work under 25mm (.985). These machines have the ability to slot, cross drill, cross tap, and mill; Special attachments like Polygon turning make this a very cost effective option for the right part.

The 6 spindle Wickmans are geared for higher volume, larger diameter work. The maximum capacity on these machines is 1-3/4". Plenty of horsepower allows us to perform heavy duty shaving and special I.D. broaching in tough materials.
